About Editable Imperialism Maps

Our editable imperialism maps let you create your own scenarios. Create custom teams, place them on the map, and watch as they battle for territorial control through simulated matchups.

How It Works

Each round, teams with adjacent enemy territories are paired for matchups. Winners claim the contested territory and expand their empire. The simulation continues until one team controls the entire map — or until you decide to stop and reset.

Three Ways to Play

  • Spinner Wheel — An animated spinner randomly picks the winner of each matchup. Watch the wheel spin and see which team fate favors.
  • User Input — You decide who wins each matchup. Perfect for playing alongside any other sports video game. Play the game, then input the result.
  • Instant Mode — All matchups resolve at once with random results. The fastest way to run a full simulation.

Great For

  • Video game companions — Track your sports video game on a territory map as you play.
  • Friend group challenges — Each person picks a team and you simulate rounds to see who conquers the map first.
  • What-if scenarios — Start from a historical season and see what happens when different teams win.
  • Custom leagues — Create teams from scratch with custom names and colors for any scenario you can imagine.
